Automated Lead Generation & Outreach System with Claude + n8n + Outlook

I’m looking for an experienced automation / n8n / LLM / MCP / web research / Microsoft Outlook specialist to build a fully automated outbound sales and investor prospecting system for our startup

Objective

I want to build a system that can operate almost autonomously:

Find potential clients/investors → research them → identify the right contact → qualify the lead → write a personalized email → send it automatically.

The goal is to have a system that can continuously generate relevant opportunities without me manually researching every company and writing every email.

What the system should do
1. Find potential clients and investors worldwide

The system should search internationally for:

Logistics companies
Last-mile delivery companies
Transportation and distribution companies
Urban mobility companies
Companies with significant delivery/fleet operations
Potential strategic partners
Investors
VC funds
Accelerators
Other organizations that could be relevant to

The system must find real companies and real people, not generate fictional contacts.

2. Research each prospect

For every potential lead, the system should collect, where publicly available:

Company name
Country
Website
Business activity
Approximate company size / relevance
Relevant contact person
Position/title
Professional email address
LinkedIn or other relevant public profile if available
Reason why this company/person could be interested in
3. Qualify the lead

The system should evaluate whether the prospect is actually relevant to

It should:

Reject irrelevant companies.
Prioritize high-potential prospects.
Identify the reason why each prospect is a good fit.
Distinguish between potential customers, investors, partners, etc.
4. Generate personalized emails using Claude

Claude should generate a personalized outreach email based on the research.

I do NOT want generic mass emails.

Each email should:

Mention relevant information about the company/person.
Explain briefly why could be relevant to them.
Be professional and natural.
Be concise.
Avoid sounding like spam.
Adapt the message depending on whether the recipient is a potential customer, investor, partner, etc.
5. Automatically send emails through Microsoft Outlook

The system should automatically send the generated email using our Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365 account.

The process should be:

Research → qualify → write → send

without requiring manual copy/paste.

The system should also keep a record of sent emails so the same person/company is not contacted repeatedly.

6. Tracking and database

I want the system to keep track of:

Company
Contact
Email
Country
Prospect type
Lead qualification
Reason for targeting
Date contacted
Email sent
Follow-up status
Any other useful information

A simple Google Sheet, Airtable, local database, or another free solution is acceptable.

Technology / Budget

I strongly prefer using free and open-source tools and avoiding unnecessary monthly subscriptions.

My current preferred architecture is:

n8n self-hosted locally, running on my own PC.
Claude for research, analysis and email generation.
Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365 for sending emails.
MCP or another appropriate integration between Claude and n8n.
Other free/open-source tools where appropriate.

I do not want to rely on paid Zapier subscriptions if we can achieve the same result with n8n or another free/open-source solution.

Claude

For Claude, I would prefer to use the free tier if technically feasible.

If there are any legitimate/free ways to improve the available capabilities or combine Claude with other free tools to achieve the required workflow, I would like the developer to propose them.

I am NOT looking to bypass payment systems, usage restrictions or security controls. I simply want to make the best possible use of the free tools and tiers available.

Important

I am looking for a fully functional system, not just a proof-of-concept workflow.

The person I hire should:

Set up n8n locally.
Configure the necessary integrations.
Configure Claude/MCP or the appropriate alternative.
Connect Microsoft Outlook.
Build the complete workflow.
Test it with real prospects.
Make sure emails are actually delivered correctly.
Explain how the system works.
Leave everything working on my PC.
Explain how I can later change:
Search criteria
Number of prospects per day
Daily sending limits
Email templates
Target markets
Customer/investor criteria
Safety and control

Although the goal is full automation, I want safeguards against mistakes.

The system should include:

Daily sending limits.
Duplicate detection.
Email validation where possible.
Lead qualification before sending.
A complete record of sent emails.
The ability to immediately stop/pause the automation.
Ideally, an easy ON/OFF switch for automatic sending.

I want automation, but I do not want the system to blindly send thousands of low-quality emails.

What I need from your proposal

How you would technically design this system.
Which free tools you would use for prospect research and contact discovery.

Preference: I would like to start with a functional MVP and then improve/expand the system once it is working correctly.

One important point

I am not simply looking for someone to connect two APIs.

I need someone who can design and implement the complete prospecting system: lead discovery, research, qualification, personalization, duplicate prevention, automated outreach, tracking and control — and leave the whole system running locally on my PC.
