I have a folder that fills up every minute with fresh JPEG screenshots. Each image contains both text labels and numerical readings that I need captured in the exact order they arrive.

Here is what I need built:
• A lightweight desktop or command-line app (Python + Tesseract OCR, OpenCV, or any equally reliable stack is fine) that watches a chosen directory and, as each JPEG appears, extracts the visible text and numbers.
• The extracted items must be written to an .xlsx file in real time, placing all detected text in one column and the corresponding numbers in the next column so the dataset lines up row by row.
• As the file grows, the workbook should automatically maintain a simple trend chart that plots the numerical column against timestamp (or row index) so I can spot changes at a glance.
• Basic controls to select the source folder and output workbook path, plus a “start / stop capture” toggle, are all that’s required for the interface.

Acceptance criteria
1. New JPEGs are processed within a few seconds of arrival.
2. Text and numbers are correctly separated into their respective Excel columns with no mix-ups.
3. The trend graph refreshes without manual intervention.
4. The whole solution installs and runs on Windows 10 without extra paid dependencies.

Deliverables: source code, a packaged executable, and a short README showing setup and usage.
