I need a complete HR analytics dashboard built from the ground up. The raw data currently arrives as Excel exports and the finished tool has to transform those sheets into clear, interactive visuals that I can refresh with a single click.
Metrics in scope
– Employee turnover rate
– Performance indicators (rating distributions, high-potential flags, etc.)
– Attendance and leave trends
– Recruitment pipeline tracking (time-to-hire, open vs. filled roles)
– Requisition Tracker
– Financial Budget (Whole Organization such as salary, annual package and etc)
- HR Internal Record (Manager remarks, salary range, JD links)
- Recruiter View (Pivot summaries by recruiter)
- Dashboard
- Consolidated management metrics
Core functions
1. Data visualisation & reporting – charts, heat-maps and summary cards that make patterns obvious at a glance.
2. Automated data updates – Power Query / VBA / Python (I’m flexible) so that dropping a new Excel extract triggers a full refresh without manual re-mapping.
Technical notes
• Source today is Excel; the structure should stay modular so I can later swap in SAP SuccessFactors exports without redesigning everything.
• I work in Microsoft 365, so solutions leveraging Power Pivot, Power BI, or advanced Excel dashboards are all acceptable as long as they run locally.
• Clean, well-commented formulas or code are essential; I want to understand and maintain the logic after hand-over.
Deliverables
• Fully functional dashboard file(s) with automated refresh
• A brief setup/maintenance guide (PDF or doc)
• One live walk-through call to verify everything works on my end
Acceptance criteria
The dashboard must load the latest Excel extracts, refresh in under two minutes, and display all four metric groups with slicers or filters for department, location and date range.
If you’ve built similar HR analytics tools, especially ones that later connected to SuccessFactors, I’d love to see an example. Let’s discuss your proposed approach and timeline.
