Job Title: Build a Fully Automated Daily AI Newsletter Pipeline (n8n / Make.com + LLM + ESP)
Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced automation specialist to design, build, and deploy an end-to-end, fully automated daily newsletter system.
The system must run autonomously on a scheduled daily trigger, pull or receive input topics, generate a high-quality newsletter using an LLM based on our strict style and brand instructions, format it into a responsive HTML email, and dispatch it to an audience of ~1,000 subscribers via a dedicated Email Service Provider (ESP).
Key Deliverables & Scope of Work
1. Workflow Automation Setup (n8n or Make.com)
* Build a scheduled daily workflow (e.g., triggered every morning at a specified time).
* Configure data input mechanisms (e.g., pulling daily topics from a Google Sheet, Airtable, RSS feed, or webhook trigger).
* Implement error handling, alerting (e.g., Slack or Telegram notification if the run fails), and automatic retries.
2. AI Content Generation Engine
* Integrate an LLM API (OpenAI GPT-4o, Anthropic Claude, or similar).
* Structure robust system prompts reflecting our fixed brand guidelines, tone of voice, structure, and audience positioning.
* Ensure output is cleanly structured, hallucination-resistant, and formatted automatically into clean, email-safe HTML/Markdown.
3. Email Infrastructure & ESP Integration
* Connect the workflow to a scalable bulk/transactional email provider (e.g., Resend, Brevo, MailerLite, or Amazon SES).
* Set up list management for ~1,000 active subscribers, including automated bounce and unsubscribe handling.
* Ensure the email template includes required compliance elements (one-click unsubscribe link, physical address footer) adhering to CAN-SPAM and GDPR guidelines.
4. Domain Deliverability & DNS Verification
* Audit and configure our sending domain’s DNS records: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to ensure 99%+ primary inbox placement and prevent spam filtering under Gmail/Yahoo sender rules.
* Advise on a brief warm-up strategy if using a fresh sending domain or dedicated IP.
5. Review Mode & Handover
* Create an optional switch/toggle for a "Human-in-the-Loop" mode (e.g., workflow generates a draft and waits for approval / saves as a scheduled draft in the ESP) before going 100% autonomous.
* Provide a brief Loom video or documentation explaining how to adjust prompt parameters, manage the subscriber list, and monitor workflow health.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven track record building production automation workflows with Make.com or n8n (self-hosted or cloud).
* Hands-on experience with LLM API prompt engineering and automated content pipelines.
* Deep knowledge of email infrastructure, deliverability standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI), and ESP APIs (Resend, Brevo, SendGrid, MailerLite).
* Ability to write clean, mobile-responsive HTML email templates compatible across Apple Mail, Gmail, and Outlook.
