I have a rough ground floor plan ready in AutoCAD and now need the entire G+1 house brought to life in SketchUp. The rest of the floor plan is hand drafted. You'll need to clean up the autocad file and make some changes according to the hand drafted image. The goal is an academic-grade 3D model that shows the exterior architecture, full interior layouts, key furniture pieces, and surrounding landscaping so every spatial relationship is clear. Small suggestions to make the design better like material, etc would be welcomed.
You will receive the DWG floor plan along with a reference sketchup model I tried to make. Using that information, build a clean, well-organized .skp file with grouped geometry and layers/tags that let me toggle exterior, interior, furniture, and site elements separately.
For now I need the geometry first and the rendering can be done at a later deadline.
Materials and textures should be realistic but kept lightweight so the file remains easy to navigate for classroom presentations.
Deliverables
• Native SketchUp file (.skp) — fully modeled exterior (Fast)
• (Later) Interior rooms, furniture, and basic landscape
The model should open smoothly in the latest SketchUp Pro release and match the given measurements exactly. Once I import it back into Layout, everything must align with the original AutoCAD plan without scaling issues.
If questions come up about detailing, material choices, or furniture placement, just ask — I can supply additional references quickly.
