Project: Residential Development – Site Layout, Building Design & Construction Documentation
We are looking for an experienced architectural designer/draughtsperson to develop our existing concept designs into fully detailed, construction-ready architectural drawings for a residential development.
We already have preliminary concept designs and a proposed site layout. The freelancer will be required to review these designs, incorporate our requested changes, refine the layouts, and produce a complete set of final drawings suitable for construction.
Scope of Work
1. Site Layout Development
Review and refine the existing concept site plan.
Incorporate changes to building positions, layouts, access, parking, landscaping and other site elements as instructed.
Produce a final dimensioned site development plan.
2. Building Design Development – 2 Block Types
Develop and refine the architectural designs for two different residential block types.
Make adjustments to internal layouts, room sizes, elevations, roof designs and other architectural features as requested.
Produce detailed construction drawings for both block types, including:
Dimensioned floor plans.
Elevations and sections.
Roof plans.
Door and window schedules.
Relevant architectural construction details.
Other drawings necessary to clearly communicate the designs for construction.
3. 3D Visualisations
Develop 3D models of both block types.
Produce several realistic exterior 3D renders showing the proposed architectural designs.
Provide an overall 3D view of the development illustrating the arrangement of buildings on the site.
4. Design Revisions
The work will be collaborative and will involve several rounds of revisions.
The freelancer must be willing to incorporate design changes and feedback throughout the process.
Final construction drawings should only be completed once the revised designs have been reviewed and approved.
Final Deliverables
Final site development/layout plan.
Complete architectural construction drawing package for Block Type 1.
Complete architectural construction drawing package for Block Type 2.
3D models and exterior renders of both block types.
Overall 3D visualisation of the development.
All editable source files (AutoCAD DWG, Revit or equivalent), together with PDF drawing sets.
