Architect/Engineer (U.S. Knowledge Necessary)

Freelance Architect / Architectural & Structural Designer – Container & Barn Houses

We are looking for an experienced architect/designer with strong expertise in container homes and barn houses for a long-term partnership.

The ideal freelancer should be capable of developing complete architectural and structural drawing sets from concept through construction documentation, specifically for projects intended for the U.S. market.

Requirements:
* Proven experience designing shipping container homes and barn houses
* Ability to prepare full architectural sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and construction drawings
* Ability to prepare or coordinate complete structural drawing sets, including foundation, framing, connections, and structural details
* Strong understanding of U.S. building codes, construction practices, and permitting requirements
* Must have previous experience working with U.S.-based clients or projects
* Experience designing for different U.S. jurisdictions is a strong advantage
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar professional software
* Ability to produce accurate, detailed, construction-ready drawings
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good communication and reliable turnaround times
