I already have the full CAD file for my apartment and have fixed the positions of all built-ins—beds, wardrobes, dressing table, TV units and so on. What I now need is a concise plan that ties the space together:
• Furniture layout
Help me position a 3-seater, 2-seater and single-seater sofa around the existing TV cabinet so the living area feels balanced and keeps traffic flow clear.
• Lighting design
The plan must cover the entire apartment. I’m after a bright, practical ambience, but every room should still be able to dim and shift colour. I’ve short-listed Duke brand LED downlights (55° beam, colour-tunable, dimmable) to sit inside the false ceiling, so place and circuit them with that spec in mind. If you feel a different fixture type or beam angle is justified in a specific spot, note it clearly and explain why.
Deliverables
1. Updated floor plan showing sofa positions with dimensions.
2. Reflected ceiling plan (or annotated layout) marking each Duke fitting, circuit group and dimming zone.
3. Simple explanatory notes so my contractor can implement without guesswork.
I can supply the CAD in DWG or DXF and any photos you need. Looking forward to a smart, build-ready solution.
