We are Techfest IIT Bombay — Asia's largest science and technology festival — building a free animated mental health awareness video series called SPEAK for Indian students aged 16 to 26, launching on World Mental Health Day, October 10.
We need an animator or doodler to produce 4 short animated episodes of 3 to 4 minutes each. The videos address mental health awareness — breaking stigma, recognising signs, and guiding students toward help. The tone is warm, casual, occasionally humorous, and India-specific. Think explainer animation meets relatable storytelling — not clinical, not corporate.
What we are looking for:
Experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, whiteboard animation, or doodle-style explainer videos
Ability to create visually engaging, story-driven content for a youth audience
Familiarity with Indian cultural context
Clean, modern visual style with character animation capability
Hindi or Hinglish friendly visuals are a bonus
What we will provide:
Complete scripts and storyboards
Brand colours and style references
Clear feedback at every stage
This is a meaningful social initiative with IIT Bombay's backing. Your work will be seen by 50,000+ students across India on launch day. Credit and portfolio rights included.
Please share your portfolio and a brief note on your animation style when applying.
