Animate a Redcoat Dance Sequence

JOB BRIEF: 2D Character Animation (90 Seconds)

JOB TITLE:
2D Character Animator Needed: 90-Second Music-Synced Cartoon Animation (English Redcoat)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
I am seeking a talented 2D character animator to create a 90-second animated sequence to accompany a custom music track I have composed.

The concept features a stylized 17th-century English Redcoat soldier wearing a white wig, confidently strutting and dancing across the screen in perfect sync with the beat of the music.

AUDIO TRACK DETAILS:
* Track Name: "17th Century Strut"
* Musical Basis: Matteo Carcassi’s Etude No. 7 (Op. 60) with a custom melody overlaid.
* Impact on Animation: The music has a driving, classical, rhythmic pulse. The character’s movement and steps must perfectly match this fast, continuous rhythm. A finalised audio file is available to potential collaborators.

REFERENCE VIDEO PROVIDED:
To make this project as efficient as possible, I have filmed a full, live-action reference video of myself performing the exact dance moves and choreography. You will not need to guess the timing or movement. I will share this video, along with the audio file, privately with shortlisted candidates who showcase a relevant portfolio. Price will be important which is why so much is provided. An image of a red coat as a guide can also be made available as a guide.

WHAT YOU WILL PROVIDE:
* Custom character design/illustration of the Redcoat based on the brief (previous agency struggled with this, so looking for an experienced character artist/rigger).
* Character rigging and seamless animation synced to my dance video and music track.
* Final video file rendered and synced to my 90-second master audio file.
