I need a clean, reliable Android utility app built from the ground up. The focus is strictly on the Android platform, so your experience with Android Studio, Kotlin or Java, and the standard Android SDK will be essential.
Core requirements
• Design and develop a fully functional utility/tool that solves a simple everyday problem (for example, a file organizer, quick-note widget, battery saver, or similar).
• Modern UI that follows current Material Design guidelines.
• Smooth performance across current Android versions and screen sizes.
• Local data storage where appropriate (Room, SharedPreferences, or lightweight database).
• Basic onboarding/tutorial screens to explain key features on first launch.
Deliverables
1. Source code with clear, maintainable structure.
2. Compilable APK for testing.
3. Brief README outlining build steps, libraries used, and any setup instructions.
If you have past examples of Android utility apps, please mention them when you respond.
