Android Social Media App Development

I’m planning a brand-new social media experience built exclusively for Android and need a developer who can carry it from first wireframe all the way to a polished Play Store release. The goal is a familiar yet fresh environment where users create profiles, share photos or short videos, follow one another, chat in real time and receive push notifications.

I’d like clean, well-documented Kotlin or Java code, a modern Material-You interface and a lightweight, scalable backend—Firebase or a custom REST API, whichever you can justify best. Core features include secure sign-in (email, phone and Google), content upload with basic moderation tools, and analytics hooks so I can track engagement.

Deliverables
• Production-ready Android app (.apk and full source)
• Backend or Firebase configuration with admin access/documentation
• Clear build, deploy and release notes

Acceptance criteria
• Smooth performance on Android 9+ with no critical issues flagged by Play Console pre-launch report
• All primary social interactions working end-to-end (post, follow, like, message, notify)
• Codebase version-controlled and handed over via Git with inline comments
