I need a native Android application that presents users with a series of mathematical–calculation quizzes. The app’s core flow is simple: display a question, accept the user’s answer, immediately show whether it is correct, and track scores over time.
Key functions
• Dynamic question generation for arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with adjustable difficulty.
• Timer option so users can race against the clock or practise untimed.
• Scoreboard that stores results locally and can be reset from Settings.
• Clean material-design interface that scales well from small phones to tablets.
• Written in Kotlin (preferred) or Java, and built for the current stable Android SDK.
Deliverables
• Fully commented source code and project files.
• Release-ready APK plus a debug build for testing.
• Brief read-me explaining build steps and where to adjust question pools/difficulty logic.
Acceptance criteria
1. App installs on Android 8.0 and above without crashes.
2. All calculation quizzes return the correct answer and record scores accurately.
3. Layouts pass basic accessibility checks (font scaling, contrast).
That’s the entire scope—once those points are solid, the project is complete.
