Android App Update & Publish

I already have the full Android source code as well as Play Console access. What I need now is an experienced Android developer who can bring the mobile app fully in line with the latest version of our web application, then push the update live on Google Play.
Scope of work
• Mirror every new feature recently launched on the web while also refreshing any existing mobile screens that have changed.
• Sections involved: user login, profiles and account settings; the core service flow (forms, booking / order steps); plus payments, notifications, and small admin-side elements visible to end-users.
• Keep the current codebase clean, refactor where sensible, and ensure backward compatibility for users already on production.
• After development and QA, prepare the final AAB, handle the internal test track, respond to review feedback if needed, and publish the update.
Tech expectations
The app is built with native Android (Kotlin/Java) and uses REST APIs that are already live. You will likely touch Retrofit / OkHttp for networking, Jetpack components for UI updates, and Firebase for push notifications—so solid familiarity with these will help you move quickly.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
1. Updated source code committed to our private repo with clear commit messages.
2. Signed release AAB uploaded to the Play Console and successfully rolled out to production.
3. Brief change-log and hand-off notes so my in-house web team understands any new endpoints or parameters you introduced.
If you’ve handled end-to-end Play Store releases before and can jump straight into feature parity work, I’d love to hear how soon you can start and a realistic timeline to hit production.
