Amateur French Storytelling Voiceover

I have a short French story that runs close to ten minutes and I want it told in an emotional, engaging manner—but by an ordinary, authentic voice, not a polished studio professional. The narration is aimed at adult listeners, so natural pacing, clear diction and the ability to convey subtle feelings are far more important to me than perfect radio-grade polish.

I will supply the finished script in French. You record the full piece in one take or several, then deliver a single, clean audio file (MP3 or WAV). Light breath noise is fine, but please record in a quiet room so background distractions stay minimal. Basic trimming and volume leveling in Audacity, GarageBand or any DAW you like is all that’s needed; no elaborate mastering.

Once I receive the file, I’ll listen through to be sure the entire script is covered, the mood feels heartfelt, and the pronunciation is consistently clear. If anything small needs correcting—such as a missed line or a noticeable stumble—I’ll send time stamps for a quick retake.
