I need an Android application that lets players record and review their batting sessions in real time. The single-minded goal for version 1 is reliable performance tracking: number of balls faced, runs scored, strike rate, boundaries, time spent at the crease, and any custom metrics I decide to add later. After each session the app should generate clear visuals—charts or simple tables—so progress is obvious at a glance.

I already have rough sketches of the screens and the data points I want stored. You would turn those sketches into a polished Android build, using a clean architecture that makes future additions (such as swing analysis or built-in drills) straightforward. Local data storage is fine for now, but please structure the project so I can plug in Firebase or another cloud back-end when I’m ready.

Deliverables
• Full Android Studio/Kotlin project with well-commented source
• Signed APK ready for sideloading
• Brief README covering setup, key classes, and how to add new metrics

Acceptance is complete when I can install the APK on a stock Android device, record a session, view the saved statistics, and see the data persist after closing and reopening the app.
