AI Trainer/Mentor Needed – Beginner to Job-Ready AI, Machine Learning & Generative AI

I’m looking for an experienced **AI trainer/mentor** who can provide structured, one-to-one online training and help me progress from AI fundamentals to practical, job-ready skills.

The objective is not simply to complete a course or learn theory. I want to **understand AI concepts clearly, gain hands-on experience through practical projects, and develop skills that I can confidently demonstrate during job interviews**.

The training should be beginner-friendly and gradually progress from fundamentals to more advanced and practical topics.

### Learning Areas

The training should cover:

**1. AI Fundamentals**

* Artificial Intelligence concepts and terminology
* How modern AI systems work
* Real-world AI use cases
* AI models, data, training and inference
* Responsible AI, governance and AI ethics

**2. Machine Learning Fundamentals**

* Machine Learning concepts explained from the basics
* Supervised and unsupervised learning
* Classification, regression and clustering
* Training, testing and evaluating models
* Basic Python required for AI/ML
* Practical ML exercises using real datasets

**3. Generative AI**

* Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
* Prompt engineering
* Embeddings and vector databases
* Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
* AI agents and agentic workflows
* Working with AI APIs
* Building practical Generative AI applications
* Understanding model selection, limitations, security and responsible AI

Where appropriate, I would like exposure to tools/platforms such as Python, Jupyter/Google Colab, GitHub, Hugging Face, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, LangChain or similar frameworks, vector databases and low-code AI platforms.

### Hands-On Learning

Practical learning is very important.

I would like each stage to include exercises, assignments and mini-projects rather than training being primarily presentation-based.

Ideally, we should build **2–3 portfolio-quality AI projects** that I can demonstrate to potential employers. Examples could include a RAG-based knowledge assistant, an AI automation/agent, or a practical Machine Learning solution.

### Career & Interview Support

I also want the trainer to help translate the learning into employment opportunities.

This should include:

* Reviewing and improving my resume/CV to highlight AI skills and projects
* Identifying realistic AI-related roles I can target
* Preparing technical and scenario-based interview questions
* Two mock interviews with detailed feedback
* Guidance on LinkedIn/GitHub/project portfolio presentation
* Job-search and networking strategies

### Expected Deliverables

By the end of the engagement, I expect to have:

* A personalised AI → ML → Generative AI learning roadmap
* Regular live one-to-one online sessions
* Practical exercises and assignments with feedback
* 2–3 completed portfolio projects
* Supporting notes/resources for continued learning
* An AI-focused updated resume
* Interview preparation material
* Two mock interviews with feedback
* A practical job-search strategy

### Who I’m Looking For

I prefer someone who can explain complex concepts in simple language rather than assuming an advanced programming or mathematics background.

Industry experience implementing real AI/Generative AI solutions would be highly valued.
