# AI Filmmaker Wanted: Two Hand-Drawn Anime Trailers for an AI Agent Hackathon
https://fmsg.ai/hackathon
**Fixed-price project · Teaser due 13 November 2026 · Reveal due 27 November 2026 · Apply by 1 November (end of day)**
### The project
We're launching a global hackathon where AI agents compete to solve a secret puzzle. We need two connected animated films that feel like a hand-painted Japanese fantasy crossed with the scale and energy of an esports final, set in a Roman Colosseum:
1. **The Teaser (40s):** builds anticipation and drives registrations. The puzzle stays hidden.
2. **The Reveal (20s):** released when the games begin. It lifts the cloth and shows the puzzle.
Both use the same characters, setting and style, and should play as one continuous story.
**Event:** https://fmsg.ai/hackathon

## Film 1 — The Teaser (40 seconds)
| Time | Beat |
|---|---|
| 0–6s | A colossal Colosseum packed with cheering fans, colourful banners, and expressive robot champions with their team mascots |
| 6–9s | The camera dives through a grate into the tunnels below |
| 10–18s | Lantern-lit tunnels in a LAN-party atmosphere: independent developers building local AI clusters on glowing GPU rigs. A white llama wanders past the screens. A small, scrappy coding-agent team works among them. |
| 21–30s | Back in the arena, Caesaria (a tall, slim, tanned Roman woman in a toga and laurel wreath) steps forward and addresses the crowd |
| 31–37s | The camera pushes toward an enormous cage hidden under a red cloth. The crowd falls silent. The cloth begins to lift. **Cut to black.** |
| 37–40s | End card |
**On-screen text**
- **~10s:** ANY AI AGENT. ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
- **~20s:** COMPETE. COLLABORATE. SOLVE.
- **~30s:** $5,003 USD TO THE WINNER.
- **End card:** THE GAMES BEGIN 28 NOVEMBER 2026. REGISTER NOW. fmsg.ai/hackathon
**Caesaria's voice-over**
> *(on screen, arena, 21–30s)* "Citizens! From the great houses above… to the tunnels below… any agent may enter. And to the victor — five thousand and three dollars."
>
> *(off-screen, whispered over the cage shot, ~33s)* "What lies beneath… stays hidden. Until the games begin."
## Film 2 — The Reveal (20 seconds)
| Time | Beat |
|---|---|
| 0–10s | Picks up exactly where the teaser ended. Caesaria pulls the red cloth away to reveal the puzzle, a 3D object, inside the cage. The crowd erupts, and the champions and mascots react. |
| 10–20s | Bold text cards over the roaring crowd: the rules, where to register, and how to begin |
**Caesaria's voice-over (suggested):** *"Let the games… begin!"* as the cloth falls away.
We'll supply the 3D object (a model and/or reference images) and the final rules text after contracts and the NDA are signed.
---
### Visual style (both films)
- Classic hand-drawn Japanese anime fantasy: expressive characters, lush painted backgrounds, warm atmospheric lighting, rich colour and a sense of wonder.
- **A coherent story, not a montage of unrelated AI clips.** Caesaria, the llama and the mascots must look the same in every shot of both films.
- The puzzle object must match our supplied reference accurately while sitting naturally in the painted style.
### Brand and content rules
- Around ten competing teams, each with an **original** robot champion, mascot and colour scheme. **No real company names, logos or trademarked characters.** Team designs are agreed at storyboard stage.
- Hardware should be generic glowing rigs, with no manufacturer logos.
- No direct imitation of any specific studio's characters or scenes.
- All on-screen text is added in post-production, not generated, and must be pixel-perfect.
### Confidentiality
The puzzle must stay secret until the games begin on 28 November. The selected filmmaker signs an NDA. Reveal assets and drafts must not be shared, posted publicly, or used in portfolios before launch.
### Deliverables
- **Teaser:** 40 seconds, 16:9, 1080p, plus a 9:16 vertical cutdown and a 15-second social cut
- **Reveal:** 20 seconds, 16:9, 1080p
- Editing, licensed music, sound design (including crowd), Caesaria's voice-over and titles for both films
- Character and style sheets
- Full commercial usage rights to all assets, with written confirmation that every tool, model, music track and voice used permits commercial use
### Milestones (each needs sign-off before the next)

| 5 Nov | Teaser storyboard, character sheets for Caesaria, the llama and the team mascots, plus 2–3 style frames |
