I’m creating a lean résumé generator that uses AI to craft a polished skills-only CV section. The idea is simple: the user pastes a job description, feeds in their list of skills and certifications, and the system automatically ranks and formats those items to mirror the language and priorities found in the job ad. No work history, education details, hobbies, or filler—just a sharp, ATS-friendly skills block that can be dropped straight into a résumé template.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A functioning script, small web app, or API endpoint (Python preferred but I’m open) that takes two text inputs—job description and a comma-separated list of skills/certifications—and returns a well-structured CV segment.
• Logic that maps and orders skills “Based on job description,” highlighting exact keyword matches first, followed by related competencies.
• Clean, professional formatting in plain text and, if feasible, downloadable PDF or DOCX.
• Brief documentation so I can tweak weighting rules or swap in another language model later.
Acceptance criteria
1. When I provide a JD and ten skills, the output lists those skills in relevance order, repeating JD keywords verbatim where they genuinely apply.
2. No sections other than “Skills & Certifications” appear.
3. Generated text passes a typical ATS keyword scan (I’ll test with generic tools).
4. All code runs locally with standard open-source libraries or openly available APIs.
If you’ve built résumé tools, keyword extraction, or GPT-driven text optimizers before, that’s a plus—send over a quick sample or repo link so I can see your approach.
