AI SaaS Developer / Team for Health & Social Care Platform

We are looking for an experienced AI/SaaS developer or development team to help develop a new UK health and social care technology platform.

The initial project involves developing a secure, modern care management and resident intelligence platform that transforms day-to-day care records into useful dashboards, trends, alerts, summaries and management insights.

Initial functionality includes:

• Resident/service-user profiles
• Daily care records and notes
• Incident and safeguarding recording
• Health and wellbeing observations
• Behaviour, mood, sleep and nutrition tracking
• Outcome and activity tracking
• Staff/key-worker records and interactions
• Management dashboards and analytics
• AI-generated summaries of resident records
• AI identification of trends and potential areas requiring management review
• Natural-language querying of authorised records
• Reporting and document generation
• Role-based access controls
• Full audit trails
• Multi-organisation/multi-location SaaS capability
• Responsive web/mobile interface

A key feature will be an AI assistant allowing authorised users to ask questions such as:

“Summarise this resident’s last 30 days.”
“What significant changes have occurred recently?”
“Are there any patterns or issues management should review?”
Responses should be evidence-based and traceable back to the underlying records.

We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in:

• Architecting production-grade AI SaaS platforms from scratch
• Multi-tenant SaaS architecture
• Granular role-based permissions (RBAC)
• Secure handling of sensitive data
• Audit logging
• RAG/LLM implementation ensuring traceable AI outputs
• Scalable cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS)
• React / Next.js or similar modern frontend technologies
• Python, Laravel, Node.js or comparable backend technologies
• PostgreSQL
• Dashboard/data visualisation
• UK GDPR compliance
Experience developing healthcare, social care, children’s services, CQC/Ofsted or other regulated-sector software would be particularly advantageous.
