[Call for Production Staff] Character Vectorization (Illustrator) & Part Separation / Designed for AI Animation Compatibility
1. Project Overview
We are seeking a designer to create final delivery-ready data based on a "bear character for a stock investment YouTube channel" that we have already designed.
This job does not involve designing the character from scratch.
Using the provided finished image as a reference, please faithfully reproduce the character's design, colors, expressions, outfit, and overall vibe, creating source data that is editable in software such as Adobe Illustrator.
The client is considering using AI or similar technologies to animate the character in the future.
Therefore, rather than simply tracing the image as a single illustration, you must structure the file with separate parts (eyes, mouth, ears, arms, hands, legs, etc.) so that they can be moved independently later.

*Please download and use the necessary data from the URL above.
No other data is available for distribution.

2. Deliverables
Please create the following:
① Full-body standing pose
・Front view: 1 image
Please faithfully reproduce the design of the provided character.
② Facial expression variations
8 types
The intended expressions are as follows:
・Normal / Neutral
・Smiling / Happy
・Surprised
・Troubled / Flustered
・Serious / Explaining
・Angry / Warning
・Thinking / Pondering
・Smug / Confident
③ Pose variations
3 types
Basic intended poses:
・Explaining while holding a pointer
・Arms crossed
・Extending hand / Pointing
*Final poses will be specified at the start of production.

3. [Important] Regarding Part Separation
This is a crucial requirement for this project.
There is a possibility that the client will animate the character using AI or other animation tools in the future.
Therefore, Illustrator data consisting merely of the finished illustration placed as a single image is not acceptable.
Please create the data so that the main parts constituting the character can be edited and moved independently.
At a minimum, please manage the following as separate parts:・Head
・Torso
・Hair/head features
・Left ear
・Right ear
・Left eyebrow
・Right eyebrow
・Left eye
・Right eye
・Pupil
・Nose
・Mouth
・Glasses
・Left upper arm
・Left forearm
・Left hand
・Right upper arm
・Right forearm
・Right hand
・Left leg
・Left foot
・Right leg
・Right foot
・Shirt
・Vest
・Tie
・Key clothing parts (buttons, etc.)
・Pointer
・Book
・Other accessories
Please subdivide parts further as necessary.
For example, regarding the arms:
Instead of a single image for the "left arm,"
I would like a structure that allows for changing poses—
e.g., upper arm → forearm → hand.
Regarding the eyes, please separate elements such as
the sclera (whites of the eyes), pupils, and eyelids
as much as possible.
Please also manage the mouth elements independently as much as possible
to allow for changes in facial expression.

4. Layer Structure
Please organize the Illustrator data so that the structure is easily understood
by a third party opening the file. Example:
CHARACTER
HEAD
EAR_L
EAR_R
EYE_L
EYE_R
PUPIL_L
PUPIL_R
EYEBROW_L
EYEBROW_R
NOSE
MOUTH
GLASSES
BODY
TORSO
ARM_L_UPPER
ARM_L_LOWER
HAND_L
ARM_R_UPPER
ARM_R_LOWER
HAND_R
LEG_L
FOOT_L
LEG_R
FOOT_R
CLOTHES
SHIRT
VEST
TIE
ITEM
POINTER
BOOK
Submissions using only ambiguous names—such as "Layer 1," "Layer 2," or "Group 1"—are not accepted.

5. Important points for part creation
Ensure that parts hidden in the original position do not appear "cut off" or missing when the parts are moved.
For example, data where:
・A hole appears in the torso when the arm moves
・The face appears incomplete when glasses are removed
・Part of the face disappears when the mouth is changed
・The lower torso is missing when the leg moves
...cannot be used for animation purposes.
Please fill in and create the areas hidden behind parts wherever possible.

6. Required submission data
All of the following are required.
A. Editable Source Data
Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
Please submit in AI format as a general rule.
・Each part must be editable.
・Parts must be organized into separate layers/groups.
・Layer names must be clearly organized.
・Must be editable by a third party.
・Created using vector data wherever possible.
B. Transparent Background PNG
For each finished character,
please export as a transparent background PNG (long edge: 2000px or larger).
Please also export PNGs showing each facial expression and pose variation.
C. High-Resolution JPG
Please also submit a high-resolution JPG for final review purposes.
________________________________________
7. Submission Order [Very Important]
For this project, simply submitting the finished image(s) is not sufficient to complete the job.
Before final acceptance, please submit all of the following:
① Illustrator source data
② Editable data with separated layers/parts
③ Transparent background PNG
④ High-resolution JPG
We will open the Illustrator source data to verify:
・Whether parts are correctly separated
・Whether the layer structure is correct
・Whether it is editable
・Whether any parts are missing
・Whether the file consists merely of a single placed image
・Whether the structure allows for future pose changes, etc.
Even if the PNG/JPG looks correct, final acceptance will not be granted if there are issues with the source data structure.

8. Revisions
We may request minor revisions during production or at the time of submission review.
Examples include:
・Line adjustments
・Color adjustments
・Part position adjustments
・Layer organization
・Fixing insufficient part separation
・Correcting minor discrepancies from the original design
etc.
Please handle any revisions necessary to meet the initial request and submission specifications within the agreed contract price.
________________________________________
9. Additional Requests
As this character is intended for ongoing use on a YouTube channel, we may request the following in the future:
・Additional poses
・Additional facial expressions
・New props
・Costume variations
・Seasonal versions
・Assets for YouTube thumbnails
・Additional parts for AI/animation use
etc. We will pay separate additional fees for any new production work that falls outside the scope of the initial request.
We do not expect additional work to be performed free of charge.
Separate requests will be made after both parties have confirmed the details, costs, and deadlines for the additional work.
________________________________________
10. Acceptance and Payment [Please read carefully before applying]
This project involves deliverables that we will submit to an end client.
Therefore, the submission of your work does not constitute the completion of final acceptance.
First, it is a mandatory requirement that you submit the complete set of official source data to us.
We will verify the data structure, layers, part separation, file integrity, etc., before submitting the materials to the client.
Subsequently,
once the client has completed their acceptance and approval process, the project will be considered officially accepted, and payment will be released.
Please handle any requests for minor revisions that arise during the client review phase, provided they fall within the scope of the initial specifications.
Conversely, we will pay separate additional fees for work that exceeds the initial specifications, such as additional poses, expressions, or production elements.
Please apply only if you agree to these acceptance and payment terms.
________________________________________
11. Required Information for Application
Please provide the following information when applying:
1. Desired compensation
2. Desired delivery date
3. Agreement to the acceptance and payment terms stated above
In particular,
please do not simply state "I can deliver in AI format";
you must clarify whether you can produce the work in a state where individual parts can be edited independently.
