Government Tendering & Procurement Domain Expert (Consultant) for AI-Powered Tendering Platform – Bidzen
About Bidzen
We are building Bidzen, an AI-powered tendering platform designed to help businesses and organisations manage the government tender lifecycle more efficiently.
The platform focuses on simplifying tender discovery, analysis, bid preparation, compliance, document management, tracking, and execution.
Bidzen is currently in the product development and validation stage. We are looking for an experienced Government Tendering & Procurement Domain Expert to work closely with our product and technology team and help ensure that the platform reflects real-world tendering processes, workflows, and challenges.
Why We're Hiring
We are not looking for a software developer or someone with only theoretical knowledge of procurement.
We are looking for someone with hands-on experience working on government tenders, RFPs, RFQs, or large procurement projects who understands how tendering actually works across different functions such as bid management, sales, procurement, technical, legal, compliance, and management.
Your expertise will help us validate our workflows, identify gaps, and shape features that solve genuine problems faced during the tender lifecycle.
What You'll Contribute
During the initial engagement, you will work with our product and technology team to:
* Review Bidzen's current tender workflows and product prototypes.
* Validate whether the platform reflects real-world tendering and procurement processes.
* Identify gaps, pain points, and missing product features.
* Share practical insights based on your tendering experience.
* Help translate procurement and business workflows into clear product requirements.
* Suggest improvements to AI-assisted tendering workflows and use cases.
Areas Where Your Expertise Will Be Valuable
We are particularly interested in professionals with practical experience in:
* Government tender discovery and qualification
* RFP, RFQ, and RFI analysis
* Eligibility and compliance verification
* Technical and commercial bid preparation
* Proposal and document management
* Bid submission processes
* Tracking corrigenda, clarifications, deadlines, and milestones
* Bid evaluation and compliance review
* Procurement workflows and approval processes
* Large-scale government or enterprise procurement
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for professionals with real, hands-on tendering experience, including backgrounds in:
* Government Procurement
* Government Tendering
* Bid Management
* Proposal Management
* Procurement Consulting
* Tender Evaluation
* Compliance
* Government Contracting
* PSU Procurement
* EPC and Infrastructure Tenders
* IT / ITES Tenders
* System Integration Projects
* Large Corporate Procurement
Preferred, but not mandatory
Experience working with or for organisations such as KPMG, Deloitte, EY, PwC, Accenture, Tata Group, Reliance, Adani, Jindal, Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Siemens, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, IBM, major PSUs, government organisations, system integrators, or EPC companies would be an advantage.
However, relevant hands-on experience is much more important than the brand name of your current or previous employer.
Ideal Experience
You should have experience working on large, complex, or high-value tenders and understand the practical challenges involved in:
* Managing large volumes of tender documents
* Interpreting complex eligibility and technical requirements
* Preparing compliant bid responses
* Coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders
* Managing documentation and version control
* Handling evaluation queries, clarifications, and compliance checks
* Tracking the complete bid lifecycle from tender discovery to award
Engagement
The engagement will initially be a consulting and product-discovery assignment involving a few structured sessions with our product and technology team.
If there is a strong fit, we would like to establish a long-term consulting or domain advisory relationship as Bidzen continues to evolve.
When You Apply, Please Share
1. A brief summary of your tendering and procurement experience.
2. The industries or sectors you have worked in, such as Government, PSU, EPC, IT, Infrastructure, Consulting, etc.
3. The types of tenders you have handled, such as RFP, RFQ, RFI, GeM, CPPP, state government portals, or enterprise procurement.
4. Your role in the tender lifecycle, such as bid management, proposal writing, compliance, evaluation, procurement, or tender management.
5. Examples of large or complex tenders you have worked on, without sharing any confidential information.
6. Your availability for consulting sessions and your preferred hourly or project-based charges.
We'd Love to Hear From You
If you have worked on real government or enterprise tenders and understand the practical realities of procurement, bid management, compliance, and tender execution, we would love to collaborate with you.
Your experience will directly help us build Bidzen into a platform that solves genuine tendering and procurement challenges rather than simply digitising existing processes.
