I want to build an AI-powered web and mobile platform that makes learning any foreign language feel effortless. The core of the product is an adaptive engine that delivers personalized lessons, exercises, and short quizzes, then reshapes the next study session in real time.
What the learner experiences
• A study path generated around their current CEFR-style level, the practical goals they choose (business trip, study abroad, everyday conversation, etc.), and the mistakes the system detects in previous quizzes.
• Vocabulary drills with spaced-repetition flashcards, concise grammar explanations followed by micro-quizzes, and engaging reading & listening passages that match the learner’s proficiency.
What I need from you
1. An end-to-end architecture that plugs NLP models (for content generation and instant feedback) into a modern front-end framework.
2. Teacher-quality prompts or fine-tuned models that can create graded texts, audio, and exercises automatically.
3. A user profile and analytics layer that tracks answers, speech input, and progress so the lesson generator can keep adapting.
4. Clean, documented code plus a brief deployment guide so I can run the platform on a standard cloud stack (AWS or similar).
Acceptance criteria
– A demo account shows three learner personas at different levels, each receiving a distinct lesson sequence aligned with the goals set in their profile.
– After a learner finishes a quiz, the next lesson incorporates at least one item they answered incorrectly.
– Flashcard scheduling follows a reproducible spaced-repetition algorithm.
– All text, audio, and quiz items are produced on-the-fly by the AI engine, not hard-coded.
If you have shipped ed-tech products, worked with GPT-style LLMs, TTS/STT APIs, or adaptive learning algorithms, I’d love to see your approach and a quick timeline.
