The work I'm looking for a Machine Learning expert to help conceive and write a technical paper for publication in IEEE. This is a from-scratch effort. I do not currently have a dataset, preliminary results, or a fixed research idea. you would start at the beginning — identifying a novel problem and a genuine algorithmic contribution (a new algorithm, not an incremental tweak or a straight application of an existing method). I'm interested in Observability as a domain, if possible or even distributed systems. but that is entirely optional and not a requirement.
What you'd help with
- Identify a novel, well-scoped problem and a defensible algorithmic contribution.
- Shape the method, experimental design, and evaluation strategy.
- write the paper through, Suggest top journals and help with revisions if needed.
- The quality bar I want this built to pass peer review from the first draft. The paper should clearly meet the standard IEEE reviewer criteria:
- You should propose a IEEE domain beforehand so that it fits the venue's scope; its methods and rationale are valid and well-supported, the material is original and distinct from prior work, it's a significant result on an important problem; the writing is clear and concise, the venue's readers will find it relevant and interesting and it complies with all submission guidelines.
Ideal background :
- Advanced ML knowledge, with real depth in algorithms.
- Proven track record publishing in IEEE or comparable venues.
- Strong research and technical-writing skills; able to make complex ideas clear and concise.
- Previous IEEE (or equivalent) papers — please include links.
- Familiarity with the review process at the venues you recommend, ideally as a reviewer yourself, not just an author.
- Observability experience is a plus, but optional.
What to send me (in one message)
- Citations / impact. Name the 2–3 top venues you'd target to publish or submit in this month Septemeber/October. Explain why work published there gets cited and give realistic first six months citation estimates for each. I'd rather hear an honest number than an optimistic one. I would really like to have more citations
- Review timeline & feasibility. For each venue, give the typical review turnaround, expected number of rounds, and the odds a first submission clears without a reject-and-resubmit. If you think a workshop or an IEEE magazine is a smarter first step than a Transactions journal, say so and explain why.
