Advanced Tailoring Pattern Mobile App

Project Title: Tailoring Pattern Generator Mobile App with Automatic Cutting Patterns and Multi-Page Printing

1. Project Overview

I am looking for an experienced mobile app developer or development team to build a Tailoring Pattern Generator Application for tailors, boutique owners, and garment designers.

The main objective is to develop an application that automatically generates actual garment cutting patterns based on measurements entered by the user. Users should be able to select a garment model, enter measurements, generate front, back, and other required pattern pieces, and download the patterns for printing and direct fabric cutting.

The application must generate mathematically accurate cutting patterns rather than simply displaying existing images or measurement charts.

2. Mobile Number Login

Users should be able to register and log in using their mobile phone numbers with OTP verification. Each user must have an individual account, wallet, pattern history, and profile.

3. Home Page and Categories

The home page should display garment categories with model images, names, and pattern generation prices.

Required categories include:

- Blouse
- Chudidar
- Frock
- Kurti and Tops
- Lehenga
- Shirt
- Pant
- Kids' Wear
- Other garment categories that can be added later.

Users should be able to search for designs by name, browse categories, view prices, and select their preferred garment model.

4. Measurement Entry System

When a user selects a garment model, the application should display the appropriate measurement form.

For example, blouse measurements may include bust, waist, shoulder, front length, back length, armhole depth, bust point, bust point-to-point distance, front and back neck measurements, sleeve length, and other required measurements.

The measurement fields must change according to the selected garment type and model. Users should be able to enter measurements in inches or centimetres.

The system must validate measurements before generating a pattern.

5. Automatic Cutting Pattern Generation

This is the most important feature of the project.

After entering measurements, the user should click the Generate Pattern button. The application must automatically calculate and generate the actual cutting pattern according to the selected garment model and entered measurements.

For a blouse, the system should generate the required front, back, sleeve, and additional pattern pieces wherever applicable.

Generated patterns should include accurate cutting outlines, seam allowances, darts, neckline shapes, armhole curves, notches, grainlines, fabric-fold markings, and pattern-piece labels where applicable.

Each garment model must have appropriate pattern construction rules. The system must not simply resize a fixed image.

The generated pattern should be suitable for practical garment cutting and must be tested using real measurements.

6. Pattern Preview

Before downloading, users should be able to preview the generated pattern and verify the selected model and pattern pieces.

The application should display the applicable price before the user confirms a paid download.

7. Wallet and Payment System

Every user should have an individual wallet.

Required features include:

- Current wallet balance.
- Add Money option.
- Payment gateway integration.
- Automatic wallet deduction for paid downloads.
- Transaction history.
- Payment status and transaction references.
- Appropriate handling of failed downloads and duplicate transactions.
- Refund or reversal handling where applicable.

Pattern prices should be configurable through the admin panel.

8. PDF Download and Multi-Page Printing

The application must generate dimensionally accurate PDF files suitable for garment cutting.

If a complete pattern cannot fit on one sheet, the system must automatically divide it into multiple printable pages.

Supported paper sizes should include A4, A3, and A2, subject to printer compatibility.

Every page must include:

- Page number and total page count.
- Pattern name and piece identification.
- Row and column information.
- Matching alignment marks.
- Page-joining indicators.
- Overlap areas and trimming guides where necessary.
- Accurate cutting lines and dimensions.

For example, the right edge of Page 1 should have matching alignment marks corresponding to the left edge of Page 2. Similar marks should be generated for all adjacent pages.

The application should also provide a visual assembly guide showing the correct page arrangement, such as Page 1, Page 2, and Page 3 in the first row, followed by the next row.

After printing, users should be able to join the sheets using the matching marks to form one complete cutting pattern.

The system must preserve the actual pattern dimensions during page splitting and PDF generation.

9. Direct Printing and Other Download Formats

The application should include a Print Pattern button that opens the available printing interface on compatible devices.

Users should be able to select a printer and print the pattern using the correct paper size and actual-size scaling settings.

The system should provide clear instructions to print at 100% scale or Actual Size, with Fit to Page disabled when exact dimensions are required.

A calibration square or reference measurement should be included to help users verify print accuracy.

Users should also have the following options:

- Download complete pattern PDF.
- Download multi-page tiled PDF.
- Download individual PDF pages.
- Download high-resolution PNG images.
- Export SVG vector files where supported.
- Export DXF files for compatible garment CAD systems, if implemented.

PDF should be the primary format for printing. Direct printing and printer compatibility must be tested.

10. History, Profile, and Support

The History page should display previously generated patterns, garment names, measurements, generation dates, payment amounts, and download status.

Users should be able to access previous patterns and download them again according to the application's download policy.

The Profile page should include user information, mobile number, business details where applicable, and account settings.

The Support page should allow users to report incorrect patterns, download problems, payment issues, and other complaints through a support ticket system.

11. Admin Panel

A separate web-based admin panel is required to manage users, categories, garment models, reference images, measurement fields, pattern prices, wallet transactions, support tickets, and basic business reports.

The administrator should be able to add new garment models and categories without requiring a complete mobile app update.

12. Technology and Deliverables

Flutter is preferred for Android mobile app development, with a scalable backend, secure database, OTP authentication, cloud storage where required, payment gateway integration, and a web-based admin panel.

The developer should deliver the complete application source code, backend setup, admin panel, working pattern-generation engine, PDF generation system, wallet integration, documentation, testing, and deployment support.

The complete source code and agreed intellectual property ownership must be handed over upon completion.

13. Project Development Approach

The project should initially focus on a working prototype for selected blouse models, including measurement entry, actual cutting pattern generation, PDF export, multi-page printing, alignment marks, and physical-size verification.

After successful testing with real garment measurements and printed patterns, additional garment categories and advanced features can be developed.

Please provide your technical approach, estimated cost, development timeline, relevant experience, and examples of previous garment pattern-generation or CAD-related projects.

Important: I am looking for a functional tailoring pattern-generation system, not just a catalogue app or a measurement-recording application. Accurate pattern geometry, physical-size PDF output, and reliable multi-page printing are essential requirements.
