Advanced Digital Compositor for Actor Replacement

Seeking an experienced digital compositor and post-production artist to handle a long-form actor substitution/character replacement project. The source material consists of a 1-hour video file (approximately 1080p resolution). The primary objective is to replace the on-screen talent's face with provided reference imagery (high-res photos/plates of the target likeness) while maintaining natural lighting, skin tones, and motion continuity.

Scope of Work:

Match-Moving & Tracking: Accurate facial tracking across varying angles, lighting changes, and expressions.

Compositing & Blending: Seamless integration of the target likeness, handling edge feathering, occlusion (e.g., hair or hands passing in front of the face), and color grading to match the source footage.

Cleanup & Polish: Manual rotoscoping and frame-by-frame artifact cleanup for critical scenes.
Milestone Breakdown (Crucial for Quality Control):

To ensure smooth collaboration, this project will be split into sequential milestones:

Phase 1 (Test Clip): A 10-to-15 second test sequence using your pipeline to prove tracking quality and blend realism. (Paid milestone).

Phase 2 (Act 1 / First 15 Minutes): Completion and review of the first quarter of the footage.

Phase 3 (Remaining Footage): Delivery of the balance in agreed-upon segments.
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven portfolio demonstrating advanced VFX compositing, neural/machine-learning tracking workflows, or digital double integration.

Proficiency in industry-standard tools (After Effects, Nuke, or custom Python/ComfyUI/Deep-learning tracking pipelines).

Strong attention to detail regarding lighting alignment and temporal stability (avoiding flickering).
