I’m putting together a digital series of activity books for children aged 3-5 and need the full layout, artwork, and file prep handled from start to finish. Each book will blend fun coloring pages with very simple puzzles—think matching shapes, easy mazes, and spot-the-difference exercises—so young learners stay engaged while developing fine-motor and problem-solving skills.
The scope
• Design a cohesive visual style that feels bright, friendly, and age-appropriate.
• Illustrate original coloring images and craft puzzle pages that suit pre-school ability levels.
• Arrange everything into a clean, printable PDF (preferably 8.5"×11") plus supply the editable source file from Canva, InDesign, or similar.
• Build an intuitive contents page and brief instructions so parents can guide their kids.
• Ensure each file is optimized for both at-home printing and tablet use (≤10 MB per book).
Acceptance criteria
1. All artwork is 100 % original or properly licensed for commercial use.
2. Pages alternate smoothly between coloring and puzzle activities with clear numbering.
3. Fonts are large, sans-serif, and easily legible for early readers.
4. Final delivery: print-ready PDF + layered source file + thumbnail cover image.
Let me know how many pages per book you recommend for this age group and your timeline to complete the first volume.
