Accurate Printed Text Data Entry

I have a batch of printed documents that need to be turned into editable digital text with complete accuracy. This is strictly text data entry—no numeric work or transcription from audio.

You will receive high-resolution scans of each printed page, and your job is to reproduce the exact wording, punctuation, and basic formatting in a clean digital file. I’m flexible on the final format (Word, Excel, or Google Docs) as long as it remains easy to review and edit, so feel free to suggest the most efficient option when you respond.

Quality is more important than speed: every line must match the source, and obvious typos on the original should be flagged rather than silently corrected. Please let me know how you normally proof your work, the tools you prefer (manual typing, OCR with manual verification, etc.), and your typical turnaround time per page.

Once we agree on the workflow, I’ll share a small sample so you can demonstrate accuracy before we proceed with the full set.
