Accessible Portfolio Website Build

I’m turning my work into a lightning-fast, fully responsive, WCAG-compliant portfolio/showcase site. The aim is simple: present projects beautifully while meeting strict accessibility and performance benchmarks.

Here’s what matters most: load times under two seconds on mobile, clean semantic HTML5 with proper ARIA landmarks, colour-contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1, and flawless keyboard navigation. I’d like the finished site to pass Lighthouse and WAVE audits comfortably.

Deliverables
• Complete portfolio website (home, project listings, single-project pages, contact)
• Modern front-end stack—React, Vue, or a static-site generator such as Next.js, Nuxt, or Astro (open to your suggestion)
• Easy-to-update content workflow (headless CMS or markdown)
• Optimised media: compressed images, lazy-loaded galleries, and WebP fallbacks
• Accessibility report detailing each WCAG 2.1 checkpoint met
• Deployment guide and final push to my hosting

Acceptance criteria
• 90 + Lighthouse scores for Performance and Accessibility
• Zero contrast, alt-text, or landmark errors in WAVE
• Consistent rendering from 320 px mobile up to 4K desktop across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
