Accessible Bath & Kitchen Plans

I’m ready to move forward with a full remodel of both the main bathroom and adjoining kitchen so they meet current disability-access standards. What I need from you is a complete, construction-ready drawing package—something my contractor can take straight to permitting and then onto the job site without further re-drafting.

Scope
• Bathroom: redraw the layout to accommodate a folding shower seat, grab/hand rails positioned to code, and clear maneuvering space for a wheelchair.
• Kitchen: integrate consistent handrail locations where practical and ensure work zones, appliance placement, and clearances allow safe, convenient wheelchair use.

Deliverables
1. Dimensioned floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, and all critical elevations.
2. Enlarged details for the shower area showing grab-rail anchorage and folding seat hardware.
3. Fixture, finish, and accessibility hardware schedules.
4. Notes and call-outs that reference ADA (or local equivalent) compliance.
5. Print-ready PDFs plus original CAD files (DWG or Revit preferred) so my builder can make minor on-site tweaks if needed.

Acceptance criteria
• All drawings must be to scale and pass local permit checks.
• Handrail/ grab-rail mounting heights and lateral load specs clearly stated.
• Kitchen counter, appliance, and aisle clearances reflect wheelchair turning radii.

I’m open to additional recommendations—wider doorways or lowered worktops, for example—if they improve function without blowing up the current footprint. Let me know which software you use and your typical turnaround time; I’d like to get these plans issued to the contractor within the next two weeks.
