I’m developing an accelerated-gravity motion machine intended purely for scientific research into classic Newtonian mechanics. The concept is to create a compact mechanical device that can sustain and visibly demonstrate varying acceleration under the influence of gravity alone, without slipping into the realm of “perpetual motion.”

What I need from you:
• Conceptual design with clear explanations of how the device achieves controllable, repeatable acceleration through gravitational forces.
• Engineering calculations (energy, momentum, torque, friction losses) that stand up to peer review.
• CAD models and exploded assembly drawings ready for machining or 3-D printing (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Dynamic simulations—Finite-Element or multibody—showing predicted motion curves over time (ANSYS, Simulink, or equivalent).
• A concise report documenting methodology, assumptions, and how the build adheres to Newton’s laws.

Acceptance criteria
1. Simulated acceleration profile matches the analytical calculations within ±5 %.
2. All parts manufacturable with standard workshop tools or readily sourced components.
3. Complete package—models, drawings, BOM, and report—delivered in shareable formats (STEP, PDF, XLSX or CSV).

If you’ve built kinetic or gravity-powered mechanisms before and can communicate the science as clearly as the engineering, I’d love to see your approach.
