Academic Functional CV Design

I need my current records reshaped into a concise, functional-style academic CV aimed squarely at a job application. The emphasis must fall on my teaching experience, showcasing course development, classroom innovations, student mentoring and any related metrics that make my pedagogy stand out. Keep the research and publication sections lean—present, but clearly secondary.

Design matters as much as wording: I prefer a modern, clean layout that moves the reader’s eye quickly to strengths without looking over-styled. White space, accessible typography and logical section breaks are essential; subtle colour accents for headings are welcome if they strengthen scannability. The final file should stay well under two pages while remaining ATS-friendly.

Core deliverables
• Editable master file (Word or LaTeX—your choice)
• High-resolution, print-ready PDF
• A brief style guide outlining fonts, colour codes and spacing so I can keep everything consistent if I add new material later.
