I need a clean, accurate 3D model of a product-sized object that will be printed first and then used as the master for casting. I’ll supply all reference photos, sketches, and key dimensions; your job is to translate them into a watertight, print-ready file that survives the casting workflow without extra fixes.
Because the design is destined for casting, surface fidelity and consistent wall thickness are important. If you see areas where undercuts, draft, or sprue allowances should be adjusted, flag them so we can agree on the best approach before you finalise the geometry.
Deliverables
• STL (ready for 3D printing)
• Native CAD file from your software of choice (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, etc.)
• Brief note outlining any casting considerations you’ve built in
A one-week turnaround would be ideal, but let me know what schedule you can commit to. When you respond, please show at least one example of a model you have taken from digital file through 3D printing and into casting.
