I’m ready to commission a single run of 60 flexible dust caps—30 for male and 30 for female 3-pin XLR connectors used on a variety of standard-sized microphone cables. I need them printed in TPU and poured in a glow-in-the-dark green filament that keeps glowing even after the lights go out. The caps will be pushed onto connectors from mixed brands, so a snug universal fit is vital; they shouldn’t rattle on a Neutrik plug yet still slide cleanly over a generic import.
You may start from an existing STL or model one from scratch; either way, please allow for the usual XLR tolerances and the slight compression of flexible TPU. I’ll gladly test a single pair if you’d like to confirm fit before running the full batch.
Acceptance criteria
• 30 male and 30 female caps, TPU only
• Consistent glow-in-the-dark green pigment throughout (not just surface coated)
• Smooth internal faces; no strings or blobs that could snag connector pins
• Shipped neatly separated by gender to avoid mix-ups
Let me know your lead time, the filament brand you trust for the glow effect, and any suggestions you have for reinforcing the pull-tab area without adding bulk. I’m looking forward to glowing results—literally.
