Hi! I'm currently studying Architectural Technology at university and am looking for someone who can provide technical assistance and guidance with a 3D immersive digital environment project across my next three assessments.

Project Overview – The Waterline

I have already completed Assessment 1, which involved developing the initial concept, research, statement of intent and inspiration board. I have attached this document so you can understand my vision.

My project is called The Waterline, an immersive digital museum exploring the contrast between light and dark through architecture above and below the ocean.

The experience begins in a bright, open architectural environment above water, featuring curved forms, large openings and natural sunlight. Visitors then gradually descend beneath the waterline into a darker, more enclosed underwater environment with filtered blue lighting, shadows and a mysterious atmosphere.

The main idea is to create one continuous architectural journey where the environment, lighting, sound and overall feeling change as the visitor moves through the space.

Assessment 2 – Conceptual Modelling and Process Document

This is the first stage I need help with. It involves turning my initial concept into a basic 3D spatial model.

Requirements:

Explore different architectural forms and layouts.

Produce at least 6 conceptual sketches showing design ideas and development.

Create a basic 3D blockout/massing model showing the spatial layout, proportions, heights and movement through the environment.

Produce at least 6 computer-generated model images.

Create floor plans, circulation diagrams and user journey diagrams.

Show multiple design iterations and how the model develops.

Capture first-person views showing how visitors would experience the space.

Upload the model to Sketchfab so it can be explored online.

The final submission is approximately 5 A3 pages with 500 words explaining the design process.

IMPORTANT: I need to document the process, not just the finished model.

This means I need screenshots and progress images throughout development, including early basic shapes, different layout options, changes made to the design, and the final blockout model.

I need to demonstrate how the design develops from simple concepts into a functioning spatial layout.

Assessment 3 – Interactive Technical Demonstration

The next stage involves developing the Assessment 2 model into an interactive digital environment.

Requirements:

Allow the user to navigate through the environment in first person.

Introduce interactive features at key points along the journey.

Have elements such as lighting, sound or environmental effects respond to the user's movement.

Create a 2–3-minute screen-recorded walkthrough with narration explaining the interactions and design intentions.

For example, as the visitor moves underwater, the lighting could gradually become darker and bluer, the sound could become muffled, and the architecture could feel more enclosed.

Assessment 4 – Final Immersive Experience

This is the final stage, where the basic model becomes a fully developed and visually realistic digital experience.

Requirements:

Refine the architectural forms and details.

Apply realistic materials and textures.

Add atmospheric lighting, underwater effects and environmental details.

Incorporate sound and visual effects to create immersion.

Ensure the interactive features work properly.

Produce a 2–3-minute first-person walkthrough video showing the complete experience, without narration.

Create an A2 promotional poster showcasing the finished project.

What I Need Along the Way

It is especially important that I receive progress files and screenshots at each stage, rather than only the final result.

I need to be able to show:

Initial sketches and architectural layout ideas.

Early 3D modelling using basic shapes.

Different design options and revisions.

Plans and diagrams showing how visitors move through the space.

Development of interactive features.

Progression from the basic model to the final detailed environment.

I would also need access to the editable project files so I can review, understand and continue developing the work myself.

I have already completed the concept and visual direction, so I am not looking to start from scratch. I need technical guidance to help translate my existing ideas into a digital environment, while ensuring I can participate in and document the development process for my university assessments.

Could you please let me know whether this is something you can assist with, what software you would recommend, and an estimated price for support across the three stages?

Thank you!
