I am looking for an experienced U.S. CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or tax professional to provide a second opinion on my draft 2025 federal/state personal tax return and C-Corporation tax return before they are filed.
The returns have already been prepared in draft form. I am not looking for someone to simply prepare another return. I want an independent review to determine whether the income and expenses have been classified correctly and whether there are any legal deductions, adjustments, credits, or tax-planning opportunities that have been missed.
In particular, I would like the reviewer to examine:
Personal Schedule C income and whether it has been reported/classified correctly
Possible overlap between personal business income and income already reported by the corporation
C-Corporation gross receipts and reconciliation to actual business sales/bank deposits
Cost of goods sold and vehicle inventory/purchases
Business expenses and deductions
Consulting/contract labor classification
Business loan interest and other deductible interest
Auto, insurance, auction, towing, repair, merchant processing and similar expenses
Shareholder/owner transactions and their proper tax treatment
Whether any legitimate deductions or elections have been missed
Overall opportunities to legally reduce federal and state tax liability before filing
I will provide redacted copies of both draft returns initially. Supporting records can be discussed if needed.
Deliverable: I want a written review identifying specific changes you recommend, the reason for each change, and an estimate of how each proposed change would affect my tax liability.
Please tell me:
1. Whether you are a CPA, EA, or other tax professional.
2. Your experience reviewing C-Corporation + individual Schedule C returns.
3. Whether you have experience with used-car dealerships/automotive businesses.
4. Your fixed price for the review.
This is a second-opinion tax review. I am only interested in legal, supportable tax strategies and deductions.
