We are growing rapidly and are looking for a results-oriented QA engineer to help us get to the next level. PREFERRED LOCATION OF APPLICANT: All can apply from around the world, but strong preference for applicants currently residing in Puerto Rico since this is the center of our business operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Participate in the full testing lifecycle: Requirements testing, functional testing (using exploratory method or based on test-cases), integration and API testing; Adjust test process: develop test strategy, improve current approaches in testing based on project and team needs; Communicate with a customer and a team, explaining QA perspectives. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 2+ years of experience in web-application testing, production experience; Strong knowledge of software testing processes; Understanding of development lifecycle; Experience in creating and improving test approaches and strategy; Strong knowledge of a client-server model, HTTP protocol and its methods; Understanding of DBMS principles, experience with SQL and MongoDB; Good communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, attentiveness and good learning skills; Knowledge transferring experience; Intermediate+ English level.
