Project overview
We are a growing creative technology startup looking to bring on board a Full-Stack Wordpress Developer who is passionate about crafting beautiful experiences for the web. As a developer, you must love design as much as code, and you must be excited about taking a design from scratch, building it and expanding upon ideas that push the boundaries of what’s possible. Writing clean code is a must! It will be an ongoing partnership, on a per project basis based on the projects in the pipeline. All projects will be usually be billed on a fixed price basis per project. Your primary focus will be to help us build, test and optimize various pages and posts for our website. We will often do video calls to discuss what needs to be build and implement. You may sometimes collaborate with a UI/UX Designer and a product manager to build custom web development projects, eCommerce experiences for desktop and mobile, micro sites, user interfaces for web applications, landing pages and more. Occasionally you may have to jump in meetings with us or clients to discuss a development project. Therefore, you must be able to speak English well. You must be able to deliver projects by the agreed upon due dates. Once again, writing clean code is a must. Before starting this engagement, you will complete a test project consisting of building a small website of 3 pages on Wordpress. You will be provided with the design files and the website must be completed by within one week. Tasks include:
Build 3 pages Wordpress using provided User Interface design files Optimize entire website for speed on mobile and desktop The development of the website must adhere to the design specifications and be interactive. Upon selection, we will have a video interview and specific instructions will be provided during and after the interview if we are a good fit. All of our communication will continue in our slack channel. You will be sent an invite once you are selected. If we like your work on the project, we will continue to work with you going forward on a per project basis. Note: This is not a full time job.
