Good day. Today I would like to talk about such a problem like freelancers runaways.
This is really annoying. You post a project, choose some freelancer, but suddenly he just disappears. You post a project again, and the same situation happens again.

I call this situation time wasting. And what are the reasons are quite simple.

Just imagine. You post a project like this: "I want my site to be redesigned professionally, converted to some CMS template. Also I want 5 new modules programmed. You will also improve my site speed, optimizing software, database loads. Some SEO will be required. Budget is strongly 50$."
Are you really serious? Do you really believe it can be done for such money?

Do you even imagine how much work it will take to complete such a project?

Yes, you WILL receive bids, but it`s a very possible that it will be just another runaway. In best case, you will get some very poor quality product. For example, some poor design, or even free template found somewhere in Internet. Those modules most likely will also be found on Internet. So instead of what you really expected, you will get almost nothing real worth.

Would you work yourself a week for twenty bucks?
