freelancer.com affiliate program was one of the best I ever used.

After 7 years of building affiliates, suddenly I noticed, I do not earn anything anymore! Currently I have 10001 affiliates! I looked for info, and found some very interesting issues.

At the main affiliate page, nothing is told about how long payouts works for referred users. When affiliate program launched about 7 years ago, affiliates were receiving 100% of all fees paid by webmasters and freelancers.

Later, when freelancer.com site grew this value dropped to 90%. That's ok I think the percentage was very high anyway. So I continued to build affiliate list.

But now, I found that payout period on freelancer is 3 months only!

Without any warnings they changed the rules. It was like a kick in my a**!!! During 3 months almost no one can get well known freelancer and earn great money! Even bid count is limited! I got really disappointed! I lost my 7 years of work. I build my own database with projects, I created software, and now I got nothing.

Anyway, that's decision of freelancer.com. If they act that way, I will make it another way. Freelancer.com is not the only freelancer site at first!

So I made a clear decision work with another sites. Nothing will change on the site, except for projects. No more projects from freelancer.com. No more promoting that site.

I am really sad to say that, but I have no choice. Freelancer.com does not need more users, because they think now they can grow without affiliates.

That's their choice, I cannot blame them.

As I told, you will see no changes on the site frontend.
The main difference is that instead of working with freelancer.com I will work with 2 another sites.
